Crowne Plaza Reading
Richfield Avenue, Reading,
Berkshire RG1 8BD
The format of the user days centres around a range of applications and topics presented by different Qlik universities users in 30-45 minute sessions. BME and Qlik will also be showing features of the software that we feel add value to universities. In this way you can discover new insights where Qlik could benefit your institution. Session information is below.

We’re pushing the boat out………Thames River Cruise
On the evening preceding the event we would love you to join us on a BME chartered sunset river cruise on the Thames. There will be a buffet dinner and a bar while you enjoy beautiful views of the Berkshire Downs. The cruise will depart from the Reading Crowne Plaza Hotel at 6.30pm and return at 9.30pm
Meeting sessions with BME on 18 May
User days can be very busy and there never seems to be enough time to have a proper chat with individual university staff. David Chisholm and Steve Sapseid will be available for sit down individual face to face meetings on the day preceding the user day, 18 May. If you would like to have a chat and review progress of the Qlik implementation at your university, you can book a time on the registration form.
Accommodation on night preceding user day
The Crowne Plaza in Reading has a rate of £109 bed & breakfast incl VAT for 18 May. The hotel is holding a block of rooms for the event until 21 April. Bookings for can be made online here, or by calling the hotel direct on 0118 925 9988 and quoting BME Qlik HE User Day.

Aims of the user group
To create a collaborative, fun and information-sharing environment where HE users of Qlik demonstrate applications that are being used at their institutions. We encourage members to stay in contact between user groups by subscribing to the BME Qlik HE Forum. To view previous user day reports click here.
Since 2009 over 300 individuals from 80 UK universities have attended the user group. The event is run every 6 months at venues around the United Kingdom. It is also open to universities that don’t use Qlik, but want to find out more about its use in the HE sector.
